Favorites

What is your favorite movie or TV show about being stranded on an island?

Also, what is your favorite book about being stranded on an island?

It's been a long time since Charlie has posted anything. So I will.

Things are good, nothing really to complain about. We are having a yard sale Saturday that my mom has been helping me with. TONS OF STUFF!! I hope this will help all the lack of space we have.

Charlie has taken on another job working for his uncle over the internet. It's a little extra cash and I think we likes it (he does sometimes a least). The girls are growing so fast. Autumn is crawling and standing up, but no walking yet. I don't think I could handle that right now. The house is anything but babyproof. Macey is driving me nuts now that preschool is out. I signed her up for swim lessons at the city pool. It start Monday , 30mins long M-Th for 2 weeks. I think she'll really like it. And I also signed her up for soccer this fall (Aug-Oct). They mentioned that they didn't have enough coaches, so I signed up to coach her team. I don't know what I got myself into but we'll see. I hope my work will let me off on some Sat. and Sun afternoons to go to the soccer games. They better. The practices shouldn't be a problem.

Speaking of work. I'm really starting to not like my job (hate is such a strong word). They won't let me go part-time. They aren't flexible anymore, so many rules I can't even begin to tell you all them. They are talking about not paying us overnight anymore, just don't a $30 stypin pay for 10pm-6am. When min. wage goes up here soon that's probably when they'll start that. I'm trying to get out, but I'm still looking for something. I'm praying about it and waiting for an answer. I've filled out a few applications and heard nothing back yet. We'll see.

I swam w/ the girls in the kiddie pool in our back yard. It was really fun. I felt like a kid again. Autumn really liked the little built in slide. She kept leaning forward and putting her face in the water then wondering why she got wet. But never did cry about it. Macey kept getting in and out running around. So I put a bucket of water outside the pool to rinse her feet. It took a while for her to slow down, rinse feet and then get in. I just didn't want Autumn eatting all the grass in pool, cause that's what babies do.

It was nice to talk to you all. I'll try to update you more often.

-Carol

I Have No Idea

The last Google map image I gave you, you could tell what it was. This one, however, near Amsterdam, I have no freakin' idea. A reflection of some kind? The world's largest cubic zirconia? Desmond turning the key in season 2 of "Lost"?

Pictures

I just uploaded a bunch of pictures to Picasa from our present vacation in Texas.

Yes, we are actually taking a vacation. This involves going out and seeing people. I know... me? Seeing people? Am I serious?

Check out the pictures. My Picasa sight is up to nearly 700 of them.

I'll write a much more detailed post at a later time. (Later = when it is not late at night and I haven't been driving across Texas.)

Sorry, no pictures of Teen Mania. I was so wrapped up in showing Carol around that I didn't snap any. Newsflash: The Dinner Bell sells coffee mugs!! I got one! I'll take a picture of it tomorrow and post it here!! I have forgotten how much I missed the Hubcap until I bit into it. It was a little piece of heaven!
